Whether you are looking for a party or fireworks, something free or a splurge, I have compiled a list of the best Seattle has to offer for your first midnight kiss of the year!

At the Center!

By far, the biggest firework event in Seattle will take place at the Space Needle at Seattle Center. This will be the 31st presentation of one of the world's largest structure launched firework displays. You can choose to experience this extravaganza among thousands at midnight or choose from smaller ticketed events taking place all over the center.

Here's the scoop:

More than 20,000 people are expected to gather, making the Seattle Center campus one big party. People will arrive as early as 8pm for the midnight show, and will enjoy thousands of free giveaways from T-Mobile. This event is free to the public.

Other ticketed events at the center include:

The SkyCity Soiree features a 6 course dinner with live piano starting at 8pm. Later enjoy dancing on the observation deck and a champagne toast at midnight. $250 person

Or enjoy just the observation deck party for $115.

Chihuly Gardens and Glass is offering dinner and dancing for $200 a person.

The Pacific Science Center Spectra 2016 party features a unique view from under the arches for $150 a person.

The Experience Music Project throws an Indulgence Part starting at $79 per person.

The Perfect Lookout!

Not ready to hang out with thousands of brand new friends? Seattle has dozens of gorgeous parks and look outs with a view of the space needle. Here are just a few:

Lake Union:

Fireworks can be seen from just about anywhere along Lake Union. Expect a few smaller displays from the community living on house boats as well. To get even closer rent a kayak!

The best parks to get a view would be Lake Union Park: 860 Terry Ave N., Seattle, WA & Gas Works Park: 2010 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA

Queen Anne:

Kerry Park boast a spectacular view and is often frequented by professional photographers for the quintessential Seattle image. Located at 211 W. Highland Drive, Seattle, WA.

Also consider Ward Springs park on Lower Queen Anne at 4th Ave N & Ward St.

West Seattle:

Hop on the West Seattle Bridge and enjoy an amazing view of the city skyline from several restaurants along Alki beach or for a higher view check out Hamilton Park: 1120 California Way SW, Seattle, WA.

Seattle will be hosting countless parties in every neighborhood with prices to fit any budget. Enjoy a Masquerade at Aston Manor or a Red Carpet Bash with Porsha Williams from The Real Housewives of Atlanta at The Fremont Foundry. For a complete list of neighborhood parties check out out
